Loggerheads & Moel Famau
Loggerheads and Moel Famau Country Parks are focal points of the Clwydian Range and ideal starting points for exploring the AONB.
Both sites offer a contrasting experience of the Clwydian Range – from the open moorland landscape of the Moel Famau ridge heading to the highest point of the Range at the Jubilee Tower at 1818ft – to Loggerheads sitting below the dramatic limestone cliffs of the Alyn Valley where the river enters steep wooded gorges and open and secluded grasslands.
